This is one of the greatest flashes I've seen.
This is pure brilliance. This flash has an original idea, stunning animation, and an unpredictable story all condensed into 4 minutes. Not only that, but this flash had me laughing the entire way through, and believe me, that is not an easy feat to accomplish. Wonderful work, Explosm.
I honestly can't see the appeal.
To me, this flash seemed to be consisted entirely of stale jokes done hundreds of times played out in a very immature way. This flash reminds me of when I was 11 and got my first USB microphone and recorded myself... doing pretty much exactly what you were doing: recording "humorous" codec conversations thinking your Snake impression is good. A swing and a miss, Falco.

This is truly a masterpiece. Not only is it amazingly animated, it is hilarious (especially if you've read the book and get all the double meanings of things like me!)

I've never liked this series, and this is no exception. It consists almost entirely of terribly animated jokes that have been used countless times (although I thought the Robotnik Vs. 4Kids segment was pretty well animated.) Otherwise, the jokes lack structure and most of the animators are really really bad.

Really great flash you guys. The only part that I didn't like was the parts that hardly used the pixel tool at all. Otherwise, it was perfect. I hope to see more.

Really good animation for a really amazing song. Keep up the good work. One of the things that bugged me though, was the lip sync. No offense, but using the "Symbol method" looks kind of ugly. Might I suggest frame by frame lip sync?
You definitely could make that suggestion of frame by frame lip synching. I probably would be disinclined to acquiest your request, though, as I think that symbol lip synching is a fine method that saves a lot of time and energy. I personally believe that the number of successful artists that use this method - Johny Utah, Homestar Runner, Harvey Birdman, I could go on - proves that it is not a flawed technique, but one that is usually flawed in execution.
I think that my execution went rather smoothly, though, thanks to the number of phonetic sounds I represented and the number of keyframes I used in my lip synching. I do see what you mean on one part during the chorus, where the MCBC is saying "Captain Hampton" really fast, and the lip synching is not amazing. But that was unfortunately unavoidable, as the framerate was 16, which does not allow for many points of articulation for very fast words.

Well, Bill, I'm glad you liked it otherwise. It didn't have quite the same level of caffene as your Super Rad one, but it's nice to know that it's still entertaining.
